ACT Exam Dates 2024 is shortened for American College Testing. It is a standardised test accepted by several US-based Universities. This test helps to determine the admission of a student to various universities and colleges across the United States. It also checks the readiness of the high school students for admission to US colleges and universities such as Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Southern California, etc. It is administered by a non-profit organization named ACT Inc. and commenced six times a year for international cities and 7 times for national cities. The test is accepted by 4-year universities and colleges in the US and 225+ universities outside the United States. Who Are Applicable for the ACT 2024 Exam?

ACT is an accepted test for undergraduate admissions by the universities and colleges in the USA. The ACT is taken by all high school graduates looking forward to acquiring undergraduate programmes at different institutions in the U. Availability Of ACT 2024:

  • ACT is administered across several test centres situated in parts of the world.
  • In the US, Puerto Rico and US Territories, it is commenced via seven annual test dates, one each in September, October, December, February, April, June, and July, every year.
  • On the international level, ACT can be taken six times a year, i.e. in September, October, December, February, April, and June.
  • The test is usually conducted on Saturdays or Sundays. A student can attempt 12 times.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students in grades 6 via 9 can also apply for the test in addition to the graduates of high school.
  • Students need to meet the course-wise eligibility criteria by the desired college/university.
  • As the ACT score is accepted for admission in most of the colleges in the US, it is taken by students 13 years of age or high school graduates.
  • Those who are under 13 years of age cannot create an online MyACT account. In such a situation, the candidates must contact ACT Customer Support for assistance.
  • Candidates are required to seek the ACT for a minimum of two months before the application to the institution/college. ACT score was declared around two or eight weeks after the ACT test.
  • Students must have a relevant international passport holder as it serves as identification proof.
  • No age or grade requirements to appear on the ACT. The candidate must be possessed with an International Debit/Credit card to register for the examination.

Section-Wise Marks Distribution:

The ACT comprises four sections such as English, Reading, Maths, and Science. The writing section will be the fifth section (optional). Candidates need to pay an extra fee for attempting the writing section. The extra time of 40 minutes will be provided to complete the fifth section of the exam.   • English: 75 Questions in 45 Minutes
  • Reading: 40 Questions in 35 Minutes
  • Maths: 60 Questions in one hour
