MCAT Exam Dates 2023: MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) is an entrance examination for admission to medical schools in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the Caribbean Islands. The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) established it, and Pearson VUE administers it. MCAT is offered in 21 countries 25 times a year.

MCAT registration is offered all year round. Depending on the location, each attempt costs between $315 and 360 USD. The tests a candidate’s ability to analyse, reason, and understand living mechanisms.

  • Visit the official website of AAMC
  • Create an account using your email ID and password
  • A verification link will be sent to the registered email ID
  • Click on the link and the application form will appear on the screen
  • Fill out the application form with personal and academic details
  • Select the exam venue and date
  • Pay the application fee

Rescheduling the MCAT Registration:

  • This feature requires an additional charge.
  • If the room is available, one may modify the exam day and/or centre well before the date.
  • The MCAT Registration System may be used to check for availability.
  • Re-scheduling is possible until the silver zone deadline.
  • If you need to reschedule the exam after the silver zone deadline, you must make a new appointment.

Cancelling the Registration:

  • Cancellation is only possible until the Gold zone deadline; beyond that, there will be no reimbursements for cancellations.
  • If the student wants, emergency refunds can be given until the Silver zone deadline under the following conditions:
    • If there is a fatality in a close family of the candidate occurs
    • If the candidate is abruptly summoned to active military duty
    • If the candidate is suddenly taken away for health care service obligations due to a tragic occurrence.

Exam Pattern:

  • MCAT evaluates students’ problem-solving abilities, critical reasoning, written assessment, and scientific values and ideals understanding.
  • There are 221 multiple choice questions in the computer-based test.
  • The exam will last 7.5 hours total, with intervals in between.
  • The exam comprises 4 sections. They are as follows:
